这首What If选自瑞典歌手Darin Zanyar2008年的第四张专辑《Flashback》。有时一个人的成长速度用惊人来形容一点都不为过。Darin Zanyar出道时就以青春无敌的形象来示人，MV中也总是一个青涩的大男孩形象，带着牙套，像是一个长不大的孩子。然而在08年底推出的这张专辑中则风格大变，歌曲的风格少了一些青春活泼的元素，多了一些沉稳和感伤。在MV中更是以全新的成熟形象来定位自身。退去了年少时的皮包骨头身板，Darin此时也逐渐有了肌肉。在近期的一些现场视频中，有些歌迷甚至感慨，那小子年轻时候多帅呀！我个人也觉得意外，毕竟Darin目前才20齣头的年纪，似乎没有必要这幺着急就转型。

不论如何，专辑《Flashback》很耐听，这首what if的内容是反对暴力反对伤害，不知道我理解的有没有错误。总之表达的是一种很痛心的感情，让人听了后也不由得心头一紧。
