这首发行于1992年6月的This Used To Be My PlayGround是麦当娜很经典的一首抒情歌曲，并在当年8月8日登顶billboard排行榜，在英国也有peak3的好成绩。这首歌是麦当娜在告示牌的第十首冠军单曲，虽然此歌获得了商业上的成功，但麦当娜仅仅将其收录在1995年的情歌精选辑中，且从未让其在自己的演唱会或其它媒体上露面，2001年的精选辑ghv2以及2009年的精选辑Celebration均未收录。

此歌是麦当娜与汤姆汉克斯联诀主演的电影A League of Their Own的主题曲，并为麦当娜获得了当年金球奖的最佳原创歌曲提名。

1992年的电影《红粉联盟》（英语：A League Of Their Own）是描述1943年在美国成立女子棒球联盟的故事，根据真人真事所改编成的。为了符合电影中的年代，《这里曾是我的游乐场》在旋律优美的小提琴声缓缓流泄下，麦当娜再度用她最柔情的嗓音来诠释它，歌曲听起来有丝丝的怀旧味道。不过这首主题曲并没有在整部电影的正片中出现，它和另一首知名的电影主题曲《一切皆为你》((Everything I Do) I Do It for You)一样，它们都是出现在正片结束已经开始在跑字幕的时候，所以没有将整部片子看完，是无法听到这首旋律优美的主题曲的。

以往Madonna所演唱的电影主题曲在单曲榜上的成绩都相当优异，这次当然也不例外。1992年6月16日发行的〈这里曾是我的游乐场〉，在这部票房口碑皆不错的电影催化之下，进榜后名次持续往上攀升，终于在8月8日当周登上榜首位置，为Madonna的美国冠军单曲再增添一笔纪录。〈这里曾是我的游乐场〉在榜内一共停留了20周，美国地区销量逾50万张成为金唱片，它在1992年年终单曲排名中名列第21名，而这首单曲在英国单曲榜则获得第3名的名次。

〈这里曾是我的游乐场〉虽然是Madonna第10首全美冠军单曲，但不知为何，Madonna从未在公开场合唱过这首歌，截至2015年为止，在她的任何一场世界巡迴演唱会上，也都未曾将这首歌曲纳入表演曲目当中，〈这里曾是我的游乐场〉也成了唯一一首Madonna不表演的全美冠军单曲。
