太阳珠宝自创办以来，一直不遗余力地推动公益慈善事业的发展，始终致力于塑造一个有社会责任感的品牌，积极践行“慈善如修行，仁爱显风姿”的理念。
成立于2008年的北京桂馨慈善基金会，一直致力于中国乡村教育环境的改善，主要项目包括：桂馨书屋、桂馨科学课项目、桂馨营养餐、桂馨之桥奖学金、桂馨生态助学等。其中，桂馨书屋是基金会为改善贫困地区乡村学校信息闭塞、缺乏优秀图书、阅读困难的现状而设立的助学项目。截止到目前为止，基金会共在内蒙、宁夏、 四川、江西、河南、湖北、湖南、甘肃、重庆十个省（市、自治区）捐建了40个桂馨书屋。
