武汉大学留学生教育学院自20世纪50年代起接收外国留学生，始终开展全方位、多层次、宽领域的教育交流与合作，共培养了来自世界113个国家和地区的数千名学生。学院把开拓创新作为提高来华留学工作质量和效益的源泉，不断增强了来华留学工作的战略性、前瞻性以及开创性。

武汉大学留学生教育学院概况

学院先后与加拿大、韩国、越南、泰国等国家及地区的高校合作开展了“2+2”或“2+2.5”本科生、普通进修生、实习生和短期班项目。MBBS英语临床医学本科项目不仅来自印巴地区，更来自全球22个国家，欧美国家学生人数呈逐年上升趋势。

一、普通进修生（学习除汉语之外的专业学生），学制为半年、一年、二年；

每年9月和2月开学，申请时间分别为当年的3月1日至6月20日和前一年的10月8日至当年的12月20日。

二、语言进修生，可随时报名，没有截止日期，没有学习期限规定。

语言进修是为外国留学生开设汉语进修课程，由专职对外汉语教师授课，从听，说，读，写诸方面进行培训。学校根据学生汉语水平，将学生分别编入从零起点开始的初、中、高三种程度10个级次的班级，实行小班教学。

三、团体班，一般为2周到8周，可根据学生需要开设课程，5人开班。除学习汉语外，还根据需要安排文化活动和旅游。全年接受报名。
