新华网·融媒体未来研究院（FMCI）是致力于传媒融合发展模式及技术、产品研发的智力研究机构。秉承以人为中心、围绕用户体验不断进行技术与机制创新的理念，将人工替代与人的功能强化相融合，探索“硬体+软体+网际网路服务”的模式。
自2014年建立国内首个用户体验感测实验室以来，FMCI在人工智慧、生物感测领域积极探索。2015年12月20日，推出第一代生物感测智慧型分析系统Star机器人。同时，在大数据与精準行销方面也获得重要进展，已具备瞬间并发运算能力30亿次、日均百亿级人群数据挖掘分析的能力。FMCI从感测入手，融合线上数据，已实现生理、心理数据与行为数据、实时数据与事后数据的整合。
正开展的研究还包括：1）生物感测+移动医疗的传媒套用——循证医学与数据挖掘；2）电子商务领域的传媒情报分析；3）“蝙蝠侠”——新闻无人机服务与管控系统等杀手级套用。等等。

November Shanghai, in cooperation with the National Theatre Company of China, the lab completed the first theater Biosensor experiment successfully, which is the first time in China.
